Job Purpose:The job purpose for a Shift Engineer - Cluster - Wafer - I&W; Maintenance in I&W; Maintenance in solar manufacturing is to ensure the productive operation of wafer production processes, uphold quality standards, minimize downtime, and enforce safety protocols, thereby supporting continuous and reliable production of wafers essential for solar panel manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

- Maintain wafer production equipment to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.



Attend to equipment breakdown and manage maintenance related downtime within targets. Execute preventive & predictive maintenance plan.

Shift Operations Management

- Manage shift operations to meet production targets and schedules for wafer manufacturing.

CAPA Implementation

- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as part of continuous improvement initiatives to address issues and enhance equipment reliability.

Safety And Compliance

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards during wafer production.

Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving

- Identify and resolve equipment issues promptly to maintain production efficiency.

Documentation And Reporting

- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on production activities and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

- B.Tech/ Diploma – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
- Desired Qualification : BE/B.Tech

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

- Min 2 - 5 years of experience in Managing daily shift maintenance of machines, along with safety of the machines and team members.
