Position: Team Member - Service

JOB PURPOSE To execute service operations such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, breakdown support, and AMC services for textile machinery at customer sites. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform in office installation and commissioning of textile machinery in coordination with the team and customer.
- Attend breakdowns, warranty, and AMC service calls as assigned by the Team Lead Service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize machine downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Provide timely and professional communication to customers during service visits.
- Maintain detailed service reports, including work performed, parts replaced, and feedback from customers.
- Follow safety guidelines, operational SOPs, and ensure compliance with quality standards during all service tasks.
- Collaborate with other service team members for complex installations or escalated problems.
- Coordinate with the Team Lead for parts requirements, logistics support, and escalation handling.




- Ensure tools and service equipment are maintained in proper condition and used as per guidelines.
- Participate in periodic training sessions and technical knowledge upgrades as planned by the department.
- Provide feedback from the field regarding customer needs, technical improvements, or machine performance issues.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master / Bachelor / Diploma of Textiles / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 Years in the field of Textile Machinery Service or Maintenance Experience in Spinning Mills

DESIRED COMPETENCY & SKILLS

- Good understanding of textile machinery (TFO, winding, spinning preferred)
- Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently at customer sites
- Familiar with service documentation practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic ERP or service reporting tools

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Healthy, well-groomed and willing to take business travel.
