Role Description This is a full time, hybrid Service Engineer role located in Khed, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as documentation, reporting, and remote support.

The Service

Engineer will install, commission, and maintain Double Column Machining Centers and other machine tools at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinating with design, production, and quality teams to resolve technical problems.



The role involves preparing service reports, maintaining accurate records of work performed, and providing technical guidance and training to customer personnel on safe and efficient machine operation.

The Service

Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, offer feedback on field performance, and help enhance customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills related to CNC machine tools, machining centers, and industrial automation systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings, understanding machine tool design, and working with assemblies and subassemblies.
- Candidates should possess skills in using diagnostic tools, measuring instruments, and material testing or quality assurance procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in documenting service activities, preparing reports, and communicating technical information clearly to customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in safety-conscious work practices, time management, and independent problem solving in field environments.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in machine tool servicing, installation, or maintenance, especially in CNC or Double Column Machining Centers, is an advantage.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed, work in a hybrid setup from Khed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
