About the Role

DETARA LTD is looking for an enthusiastic SEO Executive Intern to join our digital team. The intern will work on real websites and eCommerce projects and learn how to improve organic visibility, search rankings, website traffic, and overall search performance.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO and be interested in learning SEO, AEO, GEO, content optimization, and AI-assisted search strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize website pages for search engines.
- Work on on-page SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
- Optimize website content for relevant search queries.
- Assist with technical SEO audits and identify website issues.
- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic.
- Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Optimize images, alt text, and other on-page elements.
- Assist with sitemap, indexing, canonical, and robots.txt checks.
- Support link-building and off-page SEO activities.
- Research SEO trends and Google search updates.
- Work with the content team to create SEO-friendly content.
- Help optimize product pages and category pages for eCommerce websites.
- Analyze competitors and identify new ranking opportunities.

AI, AEO & GEO The intern will also get exposure to modern search strategies, including:
- AI-assisted SEO research
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
- GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO.
