About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEO Intern with good knowledge of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) who wants to gain hands-on experience working on real client projects.

The ideal candidate should understand how search is evolving with AI and be interested in improving website visibility across Google Search, AI search engines and answer engines.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities
- Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities
- Optimize website content, headings, meta titles and meta descriptions
- Conduct SEO audits and identify technical and content-related issues
- Develop and implement AEO strategies to improve visibility in answer engines
- Develop and implement GEO strategies to improve brand and content visibility in AI-generated search results
- Optimize content for featured snippets, FAQs and conversational search queries
- Perform competitor and SERP analysis
- Improve internal linking and content structure
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and website performance
- Work with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush and other SEO tools
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search developments and emerging SEO trends
- Prepare SEO performance reports

Requirements
- Valuable knowledge of SEO fundamentals
- Good knowledge of AEO and GEO
- Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent
- Understanding of on-page and technical SEO
- Good research and analytical skills
- Good written communication skills




- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs or Semrush
- Willingness to learn and experiment with modern SEO and AI search strategies

Preferred
- Any SEO certification or relevant SEO project experience
- Understanding of AI search engines and generative search
- Experience with content optimization or SEO tools
- Knowledge of structured data/schema markup is a plus
