– Senior UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with 7+ years of experience to support State Government digital transformation programs built on the Salesforce platform . The candidate will be responsible for understanding user requirements, designing intuitive digital experiences, conducting UX workshops, creating prototypes, and validating designs through usability testing.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence , and usability testing tools such as Maze, UserTesting, or Hotjar . Experience designing Salesforce-based applications, particularly Salesforce Lightning , is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design activities including research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Work closely with government stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and user needs.
- Conduct UX workshops, design thinking sessions, journey mapping, and discovery sessions using Miro.
- Conduct usability testing using Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, or similar tools.
- Translate complex government workflows into simple, intuitive, and citizen-centric digital experiences.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers and architects to ensure design feasibility within Salesforce platform constraints.
- Create and maintain design systems, reusable components, and UI patterns in Figma.
- Develop personas, user journeys, service blueprints, and other UX research artifacts.
- Present design concepts and user flows to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams using Jira for sprint planning and task tracking.
- Use Confluence for documenting UX flows, design decisions, specifications, and research.




- Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 .
- Collaborate effectively with business, technology, and government stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design for enterprise applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma – Mandatory .
- Strong experience with UX research, user journeys, personas, and service design.
- Experience designing Salesforce-based applications ; Salesforce Lightning experience preferred.
- Strong experience with Miro for workshops and journey mapping.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence in Agile environments.
- Hands-on experience with usability testing tools such as Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar , or similar.
- Strong understanding of design systems and component-based UI design.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 / Section 508 accessibility standards .
- Solid communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

- Experience working on State Government or Public Sector digital transformation programs.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science , or an equivalent field.
