Department: Quality Pump Motor QC

Designation: Senior Technician

Reporting To: Prashant Singh

Job Purpose To perform quality inspection and load testing activities for Pump, Motor, and Controller products while supporting shift operations, manpower coordination, testing activities,

documentation, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Roles Responsibilities

1. Perform load testing and quality inspection of Service Return, Production, and Sales

Return Pumps, Motors, and Controllers as per the defined SOPs.
1. Lead shift activities by coordinating daily testing operations and ensuring planned

testing targets are achieved.
1. Manage shop-floor manpower by assigning work, monitoring productivity, and

maintaining discipline within the QC team.
1. Prepare, maintain, and share daily QC reports, testing records, rejection reports, and

other quality-related documentation.
1. Participate in recent product validation, receive technical training, and perform testing as

per engineering and RD requirements.
1. Train newly joined employees on QC procedures, testing methods, safety practices, and

standard operating procedures.
1. Manage QC tools, testing instruments, fixtures, and accessories by ensuring proper





availability, handling, maintenance, and calibration coordination.
1. Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards during all testing

and inspection activities.
1. Coordinate with Production, RD, Stores, and Service teams for timely resolution of

quality-related issues.
1. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, quality, and

productivity.

Timely completion of load testing as per production plan.

Accurate and error-free QC documentation and reports.

Effective shift and manpower management.

Proper utilization and maintenance of QC tools and equipment.

Successful testing and validation of new products.

Effective training and skill development of new employees.

Compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety requirements.
