We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead with strong expertise in IBM TPF and TPFC technologies to lead the design, development, enhancement and support of mission-critical transaction processing applications. The candidate will provide technical leadership to development teams, drive solution design, troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize application performance and work closely with architecture, product, QA and operations teams.

Experience in Cards, Payments or Financial Transaction Processing will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

TPF / TPFC Technical Leadership

- - Lead design, development, enhancement and maintenance of applications running on IBM TPF / TPFC platforms.

- Provide technical direction for complex TPF/TPFC applications and interfaces.

- Analyze complex technical issues and provide root-cause solutions.

- Lead the development and enhancement of TPF/TPFC applications using appropriate TPF programming technologies and frameworks.

- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, design and engineering standards.

- Guide developers in resolving complex technical challenges.

- Design and support integration between TPF/TPFC and external systems using APIs, messaging, middleware and other integration mechanisms.

- Work closely with distributed, cloud and enterprise applications interacting with the TPF ecosystem.

- Analyze data flows,



interfaces and transaction processing across systems.

- Provide technical leadership for critical production incidents and problem management.

- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.

- Support high-availability, high-volume and mission-critical transaction environments.

- Prepare technical design specifications, solution approaches, interface specifications and deployment documentation.

- Participate in architecture and design discussions with enterprise/application architects.

- Identify technical risks, dependencies and opportunities for modernization.

- Lead and mentor a team of TPF/TPFC developers.

- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on development practices.

- Estimate technical effort and contribute to project planning and delivery.

- Coordinate with business analysts, architects, QA, infrastructure and production support teams.

- Ensure adherence to SDLC, coding, testing, release and change-management processes.

- Promote automation, CI/CD and improved development and deployment practices where applicable.

- Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance and operational requirements.

Cards / Payments Domain – Positive to Have

- - Experience in card issuing, acquiring, authorization, payment processing, ATM/POS, switching or transaction processing is desirable.

- Understanding of payment transaction flows, settlement, reconciliation and related interfaces will be an advantage.
