Position: SAP FICO Consultant

Band: E2.1 / E2.2 (Medior)

Location: India / Hybrid

Project: AMS / SAP Transformation Programs

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO Consultant to support and enhance Finance and Controlling processes within SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant will be responsible for application support, incident management, business process improvements, and end-to-end implementation and enhancement activities across Finance and Controlling modules.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for SAP FI and CO modules.

Analyze business requirements and deliver scalable SAP Finance solutions.

Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.

Handle incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and root-cause analysis within defined SLAs.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.

Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, Treasury, Procurement, and business stakeholders.

Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP and integration teams for developments and enhancements.

Conduct testing, data validation, UAT support, and production deployment activities.

Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

4–8 years of SAP experience with robust expertise in SAP FICO.

Hands-on experience in:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Asset Accounting (AA)

Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

Internal Orders

Product Costing

Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Strong knowledge of financial closing, reconciliation, and reporting processes.

Experience in AMS support, incident management, and enhancement projects.





Exposure to integration with MM, SD, PP, WM, and Treasury modules.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting, Central Finance, and SAP Analytics for Finance.

Experience with Taxation, Electronic Invoicing, and Regulatory Compliance processes.

Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and CDS-based reporting.

Understanding of interfaces, EDI, and middleware integrations.

ITIL Foundation certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline.

CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or SAP FICO Certification preferred.
