Role Description The Senior Student Visa Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for providing end-to-end counselling to students seeking international education opportunities, including assessing profiles, recommending suitable study destinations and courses, and guiding them through admissions and student visa processes. The role involves conducting detailed consultations, explaining eligibility requirements and documentation, coordinating with internal teams and institutions, and ensuring timely submission and follow-up of applications.





The counsellor will handle student queries, deliver exceptional customer service, maintain accurate records, and stay updated on changing visa regulations and education pathways. This role also includes mentoring junior counsellors, contributing to process improvements, and supporting information sessions or events as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong student counseling and career counseling skills to guide learners on suitable courses, institutions, and pathways.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to manage client interactions, expectations, and follow-ups professionally.
- Solid understanding of international education systems and processes, including admissions requirements and student visa regulations.
- Ability to work with documentation, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple cases with attention to detail and timelines.
- Prior experience in education consultancy, study abroad services, or student visa processing at a senior or supervisory level.
- Proficiency in using digital tools, CRM systems, and office software to support counselling and application workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling or international education are an advantage.
- Demonstrated skills in team collaboration, mentoring, and ethical decision-making in client-facing environments.
