About Lenskart
With a mission to give India a vision, Lenskart is India's fastest-growing eyewear company prescription eyewear, branded contact lenses, and sunglasses, all built around one thing: helping people see the world (and themselves) a little more clearly.
About the Role
We run some of India's biggest and busiest eyewear stores, in India's biggest cities. These aren't your average outlets. High footfall, high visibility, high stakes and we need someone who can walk in, own the floor, and turn it into one of Lenskart's best-performing locations.
If you've got the commercial instincts of a business owner, the people skills of a coach, and the operational discipline of someone who's run a tight ship before, this is your stage.
What You'll Own
Customer Experience
- Make every walk-in feel like the best decision they made that day.
- Own NPS and customer satisfaction like they're your personal scoreboard.
- Turn escalations into "wow, they actually fixed that" moments.
- Build a team that's customer-obsessed, not just customer-polite.
Business Performance
- Run the store's P&L; like it's your own business (because in many ways, it is).
- Chase sales, conversions, and productivity and beat last month's numbers.
- Spot the gaps before they show up in the reports, and fix them first.
- Hunt for growth opportunities others might walk past.
Team Leadership
- Lead Store Managers, Optometrists, and retail associates like a coach who actually wants their team to outshine them.
- Build a culture people don't want to leave.
- Spot your future leaders early and give them room to grow.
- Recruit sharp, retain sharper.
Operational Excellence
- Keep SOPs tight, inventory accurate, and cash management airtight.
- Make sure the store looks as good as the eyewear it sells.
- Own audits, safety, and quality like second nature.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain, HR, L&D;, and marketing to keep the store ahead of the curve.
- Roll out recent initiatives fast, and roll them out well.
- Bring insights back to HQ when you're on the ground, you'll see things first.
Store Management
- Plan rosters like a puzzle you're good at solving.
- Keep the store running like clockwork equipment, upkeep, security, all of it.
What You Bring
- Graduate (MBA preferred).
- 4–8+ years in retail leadership, with 2–3+ years running large-format or high-volume stores.
- A track record of leading big teams and delivering real business growth.
- Sharp commercial instincts and a data-driven mindset.
- The kind of people skills that make teams want to follow you, not just report to you.
- Comfort with fast pace, high growth, and constant change.
