Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialist - Data Engineering (Oracle EBS Technical Architect & APEX Development Expert) to lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications built on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle APEX platforms.

The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority for Oracle EBS and APEX, driving the development of contemporary, scalable, and business-centric applications directly integrated with Oracle EBS databases and application APIs. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle EBS technical architecture, Oracle APEX development, complex integrations, EDI solutions, custom extensions, reporting, and Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Oracle APEX Solution Architecture & Development

- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Oracle APEX integrated with Oracle EBS.

- Develop reusable frameworks, development standards, and best practices for APEX implementations.

- Recommend innovative solutions leveraging advanced Oracle APEX capabilities.

- Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and solution governance.

2. Application Maintenance & Support (AMS / Incident Management)
- Provide L3 technical support for critical Oracle EBS and APEX applications.

- Diagnose and resolve complex production incidents and performance issues.





- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent bug fixes.

- Support system upgrades, patch applications, release management, and environment migrations.

3. Interfaces & Integration Development
- Design and develop robust inbound and outbound interface solutions.

- Build seamless integrations between Oracle EBS and external enterprise applications.

- Develop REST APIs, web services, and file-based data integration channels.

- Support middleware and enterprise integration platforms as required.

4. EDI Solution Development & Support
- Design, support, and enhance Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and third-party partners.

- Support standard data exchange formats including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and other electronic transaction protocols.

- Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures, mapping errors, and integration pipeline issues.

- Collaborate closely with functional teams and external EDI vendors to ensure smooth automated processing.

5. Reporting & Analytics
- Develop operational, analytical, and executive reports using:
- Oracle BI Publisher / XML Publisher





- Complex SQL and Advanced PL/SQL

- Oracle APEX Interactive Reports and Dashboards

- Design real-time operational dashboards and business intelligence solutions.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with functional consultants, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.

- Support end-to-end project execution, continuous enhancements, and steady-state operations.

- Participate actively in architecture discussions and long-term technical strategy planning.

- Mentor and guide junior developers and technical team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

- Overall Experience: 7 - 11 Years of total experience (with a background in Oracle ERP / Oracle EBS environments and hands-on Oracle APEX development).

- Technical Expertise: Proven experience designing enterprise applications using Oracle APEX with direct integration to Oracle EBS databases and APIs.

- Support Background: Prior experience supporting global, enterprise-scale Oracle EBS environments and active involvement in AMS/L3 support engagements.
