Bu Description This position of Sr.

Sourcing

Analyst is within Global Procurement at BMC Helix The role will support procurement category management activities across indirect spend categories, with Facilities and IT Hardware as the preferred category focus. The Sr.

Sourcing

Analyst will partner with internal stakeholders, suppliers, Legal, Finance and Procurement Operations to execute sourcing events, support commercial negotiations, drive savings/value delivery, ensure procurement governance and improve supplier performance.

Primary Roles And Responsibility

- Support category management activities for assigned Procurement categories, preferably Facilities and IT Hardware, including spend analysis, demand review, supplier landscape assessment and savings pipeline development.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define sourcing approach, prepare supplier evaluation criteria and support end-to-end RFx/RFP/RFQ execution.
- Analyze supplier proposals, benchmark pricing and commercial terms, prepare bid comparison summaries and recommend sourcing outcomes aligned to business needs and procurement governance.
- Support negotiations with suppliers on pricing, service levels, payment terms, warranties, delivery commitments, support obligations and total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, IT, Facilities and business owners to support contract reviews, SOW/PO alignment, renewals, amendments and supplier onboarding requirements.
- Maintain category trackers, renewal calendars, sourcing pipelines and action logs to ensure timely execution of sourcing initiatives and avoidance of business disruption.
- Monitor supplier performance, service quality, delivery timelines and issue resolution; support supplier business reviews and corrective action plans where required.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, demand optimization, supplier consolidation,



standardization and process improvement within assigned categories.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, Delegation of Authority requirements, audit expectations and documentation standards.
- Develop clear stakeholder communications, sourcing summaries, negotiation updates and management-ready reporting on savings, risks, timelines and next steps.
- Use data and analytical insights to support category decisions, supplier strategy, spend visibility and continuous improvement across procurement processes.
- Drive operational excellence by promoting standard templates, repeatable sourcing practices, automation opportunities and improved ways of working.
- 4-6 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management or Supplier Management, preferably across indirect procurement categories.
- Preferred category experience in Facilities and IT Hardware procurement, including workplace services, facilities services, IT peripherals, hardware devices, maintenance/support and related supplier engagements.
- University degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, Engineering, IT or a related discipline; MBA would be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of category management concepts, sourcing strategy, RFx execution, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Working knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay processes, purchase orders, contract-to-PO alignment, invoice issue resolution and procurement controls.
- Experience working with procurement systems such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba or similar sourcing/P2P platforms; Oracle experience would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to translate spend and supplier data into business insights and recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing activities, timelines and stakeholders in a fast-paced, global and matrixed environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present sourcing recommendations and procurement updates clearly.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and solution-focused professional with strong ownership, follow-through and customer service mindset.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and cross-functional partners while maintaining procurement governance and compliance.

Desired (nice-to-have) Skills

- Skilled certification such as CIPS, CPSM, CSCP or equivalent procurement/supply chain certification.
- Experience supporting Facilities category projects such as workplace services, facility maintenance, office fit-outs, security services, cafeteria/pantry services,



utilities or real estate related procurement.
- Experience supporting IT Hardware category projects such as laptops/desktops, monitors, accessories, infrastructure hardware, warranties, asset refresh, deployment services or support agreements.
- Exposure to contract lifecycle management, supplier risk reviews, third-party due diligence, data privacy/security coordination and audit-ready sourcing documentation.
- Experience preparing executive-ready sourcing dashboards, negotiation summaries, savings reports and category performance updates.
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience in process standardization, automation, template development or procurement transformation initiatives.

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,737,400 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
