Responsibilities

Software Design and Architecture - Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems

Make architectural decisions and review designs from other engineers

Coding and Development - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Lead by example in coding best practices and standards

Code Review and Quality Assurance - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards

Mentor junior developers through constructive feedback

Testing and Debugging - Develop and maintain unit, integration, and system tests

Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and performance issues

Project Leadership - Lead technical projects from conception to deployment

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements

Mentorship and Team Development - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with QA, DevOps, UX/UI, and product teams

Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Innovation and Continuous Improvement - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Propose and implement improvements to development processes and tools

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

8+ years of ORMB Healthcare software development experience

Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience in leveraging AI/ML in software solutioning

Sound knowledge on Latest AI Capabilities - RAG , Agentic Development , Gen AI

Understanding on Codex, Claude Code , VS Code etc

Sound knowledge of Java

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and API design (REST, GraphQL)
