Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Production support- UAT Evt to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your future duties and responsibilities Provide L2 production support for Prime Services applications.
Monitor application health and respond to production incidents,
service requests, and alerts.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
Analyze logs and application issues using UNIX/Linux commands.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, defect analysis, and reporting.
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
Support batch jobs, end of day processing, and critical production releases.
Ensure adherence to SLA, ITIL, and operational processes.
Participate in on call support and production setting maintenance.
For senior profiles (5+ years): Lead incidents and mentor junior team members Drive automation and process improvements Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must Have: Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux (shell scripting, commands, log analysis).
Strong SQL skills (complex joins, subqueries, performance tuning).
Experience in Application/Production Support within financial services.
Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Exposure to Prime Services / Investment Banking / Capital Markets applications is highly preferred.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have (Added Advantage):
Knowledge or hands on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure App Services, VM, monitoring, logs).
Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, ITRS Geneos, etc.).
Familiarity with automation or scripting (Shell, Python).
