We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer Backend Focused (Full Stack) for our AI Platform team. The role will primarily focus on developing scalable Python backend services, REST APIs, microservices and data layers supporting AI-powered enterprise applications.

The candidate should have strong backend expertise with Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis/Celery, Docker and Kubernetes, along with working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript..

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design and implement asynchronous processing using Redis/Celery, RabbitMQ, SQS or equivalent.
- Design, develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, queries, indexes and migrations.
- Build and containerize applications using Docker.
- Deploy, configure and troubleshoot services in Kubernetes / AKS environments.
- Design REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, API versioning and microservice communication.
- Contribute to Angular/TypeScript UI fixes and feature enhancements.
- Participate in Low-Level Design (LLD), data modelling,



component design and service architecture.
- Work with Azure DevOps CI/CD, Git and Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate backend services with AI agents and orchestration platforms.

Mandatory Skills:

- 6+ years of experience in Backend / Full Stack Software Development
- Strong hands-on experience in Python
- Experience with FastAPI or equivalent Python REST framework
- Strong experience in REST APIs and Microservices
- Production experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Redis and Celery or equivalent message queue technologies
- Working knowledge of Docker
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience with Azure DevOps / CI-CD
- Working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of Low-Level Design, API design and data modelling

Good to Have:

- Experience with Azure / AKS
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, LangChain or LangGraph
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
- Experience with API Gateway and event-driven architecture
- Experience building enterprise-scale cloud applications
