Job Summary:

Senior Snowflake Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining Snowflake environments to ensure they are secure, scalable, performant, and cost-efficient in support of Kontoor’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and analytics platforms.

This role focuses on Snowflake platform administration and operations, including account configuration, user and role management, security and compliance, performance optimization, monitoring, cost management, and disaster recovery. The individual will work closely with Data Engineering, BI, Security, and Cloud Infrastructure teams to ensure Snowflake aligns with enterprise architecture standards, governance policies, and business requirements.

Reporting & Enablement

Preferred Experience

- Working knowledge of Matillion ETL from a platform support and integration perspective (job orchestration, scheduling dependencies, Snowflake workload impact).
- Experience supporting HVR or similar data replication tools, including understanding of
- CDC patterns
- Source-to-Snowflake replication behavior.
- Impact on Snowflake performance and credit consumption
- Ability to collaborate with ETL teams to troubleshoot pipeline-related performance, concurrency, or cost issues in Snowflake.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Min Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, computer science, or other relevant discipline required.
- SnowPro Advanced Administrator certification (preferred).
- Demonstrates strong command of the English language both written and verbal
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point. Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite.
