We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer with 46 years of deep, hands-on experience in building, scaling, and optimizing Shopify-based e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should bring expertise in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify Plus, along with a strong understanding of performance optimization, headless architecture, and API integrations. This role requires technical leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide and mentor junior developers while delivering complex solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shopify Development & Customization

- Lead the development and customization of advanced Shopify themes.
- Implement highly interactive and responsive features using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Optimize storefront performance for speed, accessibility, and SEO.

2. Technical Architecture & Solutions Design

- Architect and implement scalable, reusable Shopify solutions.
- Design custom apps or leverage third-party apps for enhanced functionality.
- Drive headless commerce initiatives if applicable.

3. API Integration & Backend Connectivity

- Integrate Shopify with external systems (CRMs, ERPs, inventory tools, etc.) via REST/GraphQL APIs.




- Ensure smooth data flow and sync across platforms.

4. Performance Optimization

- Continuously monitor and improve site performance and page speed.
- Troubleshoot bugs and complex frontend/backend issues.

5. Team Collaboration & Mentorship

- Provide guidance to junior Shopify developers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Product).
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding best practices.

Qualification:

- 46 years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer.
- Strong command over Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep experience in Shopify Plus, checkout customization, and custom storefronts.
- Proficient in integrating APIs and third-party apps.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and UX best practices.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have:

- Experience with headless commerce (Hydrogen, Oxygen, Next.js).
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and deployment strategies.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
