Position Summary
You will join the team as a Senior Scrum Master, responsible for guiding and enabling multiple Agile teams at bswift. This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, strengthening Agile practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional product teams — including teams that increasingly blend human engineering with AI-assisted development.
You'll work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise software that enables seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams for predictable, high-quality, end-to-end delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and uphold Scrum principles, bswift standards, and delivery discipline.
- Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and business alignment.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, and release planning with transparent stakeholder communication.
- Drive continuous improvement using metrics, retrospectives, and best practices.
- Mentor team members and junior Scrum Masters, building a self-organizing, high-performance culture.
- Ensure quality standards, accurate Agile tracking, and delivery per definition of done.
- Ensure alignment with bswift's governance, data-privacy, security, and compliance standards; escalate risks appropriately.
- Support PI Planning, capacity planning, governance, and process optimization.
- Prior hands-on SDLC experience (as QA, BA, or Dev) to go beyond running ceremonies — reviewing and reinforcing definition of done, shaping scoping and acceptance criteria, strengthening dependency management, supporting UAT,
and catching gaps early.
- Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline sprint reporting, dependency tracking, and retrospective insights — freeing up time for high-value coaching.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification preferred
Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development teams.
- Proven success leading multiple Agile teams in a complex, scaled environment.
- Strong grounding in backlog management, sprint planning, release coordination, and cross-team delivery, including managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication across distributed teams.
- Experience with Agile transformation, continuous improvement, and delivery governance.
- Prior hands-on delivery experience as QA, BA, or Developer (preferred) — bringing practical SDLC understanding and credibility with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps workflows and modern engineering practices, including teams using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, HR tech, or advantages administration domains (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and practical application in real-world teams.
- Strong skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, coaching, servant leadership, and change management.
- Hands-on expertise with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar, along with AI-powered productivity tools for meeting summarization, reporting, and documentation.
- Understanding of product lifecycles, SDLC, project management fundamentals, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret and use delivery metrics to guide decisions and improvements, including metrics suited to AI-augmented teams such as flow efficiency, review throughput, and rework rate.
- Awareness of responsible-AI principles including data privacy, security, and human-in-the-loop accountability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
