RESPONSIBILITIES SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

- Lead and manage all plant operations including production, manufacturing, warehousing, dispatch, quality, and maintenance.

- Take overall responsibility for plant performance, profitability, productivity, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

- Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and operating plans aligned with organizational objectives.

- Monitor and improve machine efficiency, material yield, manpower productivity, and overall manufacturing costs.

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, quality, engineering, manpower, and plant performance.

- Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining required quality standards and delivery commitments.

- Drive cost reduction, waste reduction, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Monitor plant budgets, operating expenses, working capital, and profitability in coordination with management and finance teams.

- Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of plant machinery, equipment, infrastructure, and other resources.

- Work closely with Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, HR, Finance, and other departments for smooth plant operations.





- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, safety standards, quality systems, and customer audit requirements.

- Develop, motivate, and manage a competent workforce through performance management, training, coaching, and cross-functional development.

- Promote cross-training and workforce optimization to improve manpower utilization and operational continuity.

- Monitor employee performance, discipline, safety practices, and overall workforce effectiveness.

- Provide regular daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance reports to senior management.

- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.

- Support strategic initiatives for plant expansion, process improvement, capacity enhancement, and business growth.

- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and timely support for plant operations.

- Ensure proper documentation, process controls, and readiness for internal, customer, and statutory audits.

- Build a robust performance-driven culture focused on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Delivery, and Continuous Improvement.
