Role Description The Senior Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive assessment and therapy services for children, focusing on sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, daily living skills, and school readiness. This full-time, on-site role based in Anekal includes developing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and regularly monitoring and documenting progress.

The professional will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in case discussions, and coordinate care across therapy domains.

Responsibilities also include coaching parents and caregivers, conducting home- and school-based recommendations,



and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

The Senior Occupational

Therapist may mentor junior therapists and interns, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and child-centered care.

Qualifications

- Masters in Occupation Therapy
- Experience 2 years and above
- Strong skills and formal training in Occupational Therapy, including pediatric evaluation and intervention.
- Foundational knowledge in Medicine related to child development, neurodevelopmental conditions, and common pediatric diagnoses.
- Experience in Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement functional, goal-oriented therapy plans.
- Excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Specialized expertise in Pediatrics, preferably within pediatric therapy or special needs settings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; relevant licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Prior experience in pediatric occupational therapy; senior or lead experience in a clinical or center-based workplace is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and maintain ethical, child-centered practice.
- Strong documentation, time management, and case management skills, with familiarity in using standardized assessments.
- Comfort with engaging caregivers through education, training, and guidance to support therapy carryover at home and school.
