Role Summary

Build and maintain our SaaS product using an AI-assisted workflow where the majority of code is generated through Claude. You'll direct, review, integrate, and harden AI-generated code rather than writing most of it by hand.

Core Responsibilities

- Translate product requirements into clear, accurate specifications and prompts that produce correct, production-ready code
- Review, test, and refactor AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability
- Design system architecture, data models, and API contracts that guide AI output
- Own low-latency, high-availability application design and performance tuning
- Integrate AI-generated modules into the existing codebase and resolve conflicts
- Debug issues in generated code and maintain overall system coherence

Required Skills





- Strong code-reading and review ability — this matters more than raw writing speed; you must catch bugs, security flaws, and bad patterns in generated code
- Solid JavaScript fundamentals and understanding of Node.js, Express, React
- MongoDB schema design and indexing
- Ability to write clear technical specifications and break problems into well-scoped tasks
- Architectural judgment: knowing what to build and how components fit together
- Testing discipline (unit/integration testing of generated code)
- User authentication/authorization, security and accessibility compliance
- Git proficiency
- Experience with AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) — or clear aptitude to learn fast
