Role Description:

The Senior Manager – Solar Floating is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for leading the planning, execution, and commissioning of floating solar power projects. This role involves overseeing project lifecycles from planning and engineering to installation and commissioning, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timelines, quality standards, and budget targets are met.

The Senior

Manager will supervise on-site activities, manage contractor, vendor, consultant, and client relationships, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site feasibility studies, coordinating technical assessments of water bodies, managing floating structures, anchoring and mooring systems, monitoring project performance, resolving project issues, and preparing regular project progress reports, MIS, and technical documentation. The role also requires leading project teams, mentoring team members,



fostering a culture of accountability, and driving continuous improvement in floating solar project execution.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Team Leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary project and site teams.
- Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Floating Solar / Solar PV Project Execution, preferably in solar or renewable energy environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, cost control, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with floating solar technologies, including floating structures, anchoring, mooring systems, and electrical aspects of PV systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, or renewable energy) or an equivalent technical field.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale solar or infrastructure projects, with responsibility for budget, quality, safety, and project performance outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Excellent client coordination, vendor management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, coordinate field activities, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and manage projects across locations.
