Position Overview The Manager / Senior Manager – Operations role is a key position within the Operations (Mutual Fund) department, reporting to the Head – Operations . The role exists to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across settlement, accounting, and reporting processes, supporting both domestic and international fund operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Review settlement and accounting of equity, ETF, and Future & Option (F&O;) trades.
- Oversee Mark to Market (MTM) matching and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Manage margin placement and release processes for F&O; transactions.
- Supervise ETF basket generation and coordinate with market makers for smooth execution.
- Collaborate with the Investment team and custodian to ensure seamless processing of ETF and foreign security transactions.
- Handle Forex booking and related entries in the back-office system for international funds.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports submitted to regulators.
- Prepare and review GST returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.




- Coordinate with internal, statutory, and SEBI auditors for audits and reviews.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing annual scheme financials and factsheets.
- Account for various scheme expenses and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Education: Post Graduate qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in operations within the Mutual Fund or related financial services domain.
- Leadership: Reports to the Head – Operations and collaborates with cross-functional teams including investment, custodial, and audit functions.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in settlement, accounting, ETF operations, F&O; processes, MTM matching, Forex booking, and regulatory reporting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, planning, and organizing abilities; proactive mindset; relationship management; positive attitude; and effective team collaboration.
