Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Accounts, Finance & Purchase to manage and supervise the Accounts, Finance, Commercial, and Procurement activities of an engineering manufacturing organisation.

The role requires someone who is hands-on and operational, with strong experience in accounting, financial controls, taxation, costing, procurement, vendor management, and MIS.

Candidates with prior experience in a Foundry, Casting, Engineering Manufacturing, Metal Processing, or similar manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Accounts and Finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and review monthly MIS, financial reports, cash-flow statements, budgets, and variance reports.
- Ensure timely compliance related to GST, TDS, taxation, statutory payments, and other financial requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flow.
- Handle and supervise the Purchase and Procurement function for raw materials, consumables, spares, and other requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, credit periods, lead times, and supply conditions.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Planning, and Quality teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and better commercial terms.
- Review Purchase Orders, vendor invoices, Goods Receipt records, and payment documentation.
- Support manufacturing costing, inventory valuation,



and cost-control activities.
- Maintain proper accounting and purchase records through Tally / ERP systems.
- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls across Accounts, Purchase, and Stores.
- Support senior management with financial, commercial, and procurement-related reports and analysis.
- Guide and supervise junior team members within Accounts, Finance, and Purchase.

Candidate Profile
- 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Solid experience in Accounts, Finance, Purchase, and Commercial Operations.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing organisation is mandatory.
- Candidates from a Foundry / Casting / Engineering Manufacturing / Metal / Auto Component environment will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Experience in Purchase, Vendor Development, Procurement, and Commercial Negotiation.
- Exposure to manufacturing costing, inventory management, and working capital control.
- Hands-on knowledge of Tally and ERP systems.
- Ability to independently prepare MIS and management reports.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Should be comfortable working in a hands-on managerial role rather than a purely strategic leadership position.

Qualification

CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.

Candidates with strong practical experience in manufacturing Accounts, Finance, and Purchase functions will also be considered.
