Role Summary

- The Senior Manager, GCC is a hands-on, technically fluent leader responsible for the performance, quality, and continuous evolution of Client's India-based finance and accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Manager owns the end-to-end management of the India team's workload including task execution, prioritization, capacity planning, and timely, accurate completion of all deliverables across Accounting, Partnership Accounting, Tax, IT, Transaction Management and FP&A.;

- This role will supervise a team of 15 accounting professionals and support special projects for the CAO and other senior leaders.
- This leader must deeply understand the work performed by the team from bank reconciliations and the month-end close to LIHTC partnership waterfalls and tax engagement administration and be capable of stepping into the detail when required to coach, unblock, and assure quality. Equally, the Senior Manager will operate as a strategic partner to onshore leadership, communicating proactively and directly on deliverables, due dates, risks, and expectations, and serving as the single point of accountability for the GCC's output.

The Senior

Manager is expected to accelerate process automation, explore and implement AI-enabled workflows, and build a culture of continuous improvement, scalability, and modernization positioning the GCC not as a back-office function, but as a center of innovation for the global organization.

What You Will Do Operational Ownership & Delivery

- Own the India team's complete workload intake, prioritization, assignment, execution, and on-time,



high-quality completion of all deliverables across Corporate Accounting, Partnership Accounting, Tax, IT, Transaction Management and FP&A.;

- Manage the cadence of recurring deliverables, including the month-end and year-end close, bank and cash reconciliations, trial balance interfaces from third-party property management companies (PMCOs), SOX control procedures, partnership cash disbursements, and tax engagement administration.
- Establish and monitor service levels, turnaround times, and quality metrics; identify capacity constraints early and reallocate resources to protect critical deadlines.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for the India team, resolving issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity and prevent downstream impact to onshore stakeholders.

Project Management & Resource Planning
- Apply rigorous project-management discipline to plan, sequence, and track multi-workstream initiatives, balancing recurring production work against transformation projects and ad hoc requests from the CAO, Controller, and functional leaders.

- Build and maintain forward-looking resource and capacity plans aligned to the close calendar, audit cycles, transaction volumes, and seasonal tax and FP&A; demands.
- Define and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key processes, ensuring institutional knowledge is documented, current, and transferable.

Quality, Accuracy & Controls

- Uphold standards of quality, accuracy, timeliness, and accountability across every output produced by the team.
- Ensure GAAP compliance, data integrity, and adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, including SOX procedures performed in coordination with PMCOs.
