Cloud : Azure The Senior Java Software Engineer is a full-time, remote role based. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications using Spring Framework and Microservices architectures. Daily activities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code; participating in code reviews; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, QA, and DevOps.

The engineer will contribute to solution design, performance optimization,



and integration with technologies like Azure and Kafka, while ensuring best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to technical standards, and supporting production systems as needed.

Qualifications

- Robust Java and general Programming skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development for enterprise applications, including end-to-end lifecycle involvement.
- Proficiency with Microservices design and implementation, including service communication, resilience, and scalability.
- Deep understanding of Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for building modern Java applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, and version control tools like Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead engineer role, including mentoring and technical guidance to other team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
