TheAEC Associates is seeking motivated individuals to join our organization who possess strong CAD and Revit skills. Intermediate Architects should have 4-8 years of experience in Architectural, primarily responsible for production of construction documents and participating in final QA, coordination and management of varied multiple medium complex, short term/ long term small-medium sized projects and programs.

Essential Duties/ Role and Responsibilities

Managing Client/ Project Requirements:

- Responsible for identifying & implementing project specific & program requirements into drawings and documents.
- Continuous follow-up on all drawing production items per the design specifications, code compliance & constructability as the design evolves.

Drawing Production:

- Primarily responsible for managing production of building project drawings during all design and construction phases including as-Builts, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation Sets and others meeting Project owner?s expectations (Internal and external).
- Manages the creation of or creates client specific drawing templates utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Provide an initial estimate of work in terms of effort and schedule and report the worked hours spent on the project/ assigned tasks.
- Delegate the work in a suitable manner to match client/ project requirements and guide production resources during drawing production.
- Timely reporting of queries/ challenges and completion of work to the project owner (Internal and External).
- Provide RFI inputs and deliver the work as per the client?s responses.
- Resolve queries of the production team.

Client Interaction:

- Client Interaction thru emails, conference calls and web sessions.





Team Management:

- Working with the DSMs/SMs, may directly or indirectly, supervise, and check activities of production team members engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the As-built, Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
- Manage teams of production team members, Intermediate Architects/ Interior Designers/ Engineers and consultants to accomplish client program needs, including template creation, test-fits (base drawings) and construction documents.
- Responsible for communication with the production team to ensure that all design elements are implemented into the design development and construction documents.

Quality Management:

- Adherence to quality and provide support to reportees to increase efficiency and hour utilization.
- Ability to follow SOPs while producing drawings and managing client deliveries.
- Improve proficiency in usage of tools, templates and technique by doing necessary amendments/ updates.

Expertise:

- Advanced knowledge of Building Construction and Building Systems.
- Able to develop and deliver details without support.
- Deliver complete design with complete details to the SM / DSM / SA.
- Provide technical training as required to the team.
- Responsible for updating project and program templates and standards to enhance productivity.

Knowledge,



Skills & Abilities

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Architectural background preferred with advanced knowledge of general design documentation standards, practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of all aspects of architectural practice and/or interior designing/ engineering projects.
- Basic understanding of the architectural/ interior design/ engineering design process both in the office and on site.
- Highly motivated to meet project deadlines consistently in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to employ creative and cutting-edge thought processes.
- Good written and spoken English is required.
- Strong organizational skills, a self-starter and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Education and Experience

- Master?s/ Bachelor?s degree in Architecture is preferred with a minimum 4-8 years of experience in the AEC industry with matching work experience.
- Experience in Architectural new construction and renovation projects.
- Good knowledge about other presentation, design and analysis tools such as ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SketchUp, 3DS Max, Lumion, Enscape, Revit MEP etc.
- Relevant work experience with similar organizations.
