Rajesh Bhauwala & Co., Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced Senior GST Executive to join our team in Surat, Gujarat.

Position: Senior GST Executive

Experience: 2–5 Years in GST compliance and taxation

Key Responsibilities

- Handle GST compliance independently for multiple clients.
- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
- Preparation and filing of Annual Return – GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
- Perform GST reconciliations, including:
- GSTR-1 vs Books
- GSTR-3B vs Books
- GSTR-2B vs Purchase Register
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation
- Review and identify eligible/ineligible ITC and ITC reversals.
- Handle GST registrations, amendments and cancellations.
- Prepare and file GST refund applications, wherever applicable.
- Assist in handling GST notices, scrutiny, assessments and departmental queries.
- Prepare workings and draft responses for GST notices.
- Assist seniors/partners in GST audits, advisory and litigation matters.
- Review GST compliance work prepared by junior team members.
- Coordinate with clients for data, reconciliations, pending information and compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper GST working papers and client-wise compliance records.
- Keep track of GST due dates and ensure timely completion of all assigned compliances.
- Stay updated with amendments, notifications,



circulars and important developments under GST law.

Candidate Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or similar qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of practical GST experience, preferably with a CA firm.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST returns, ITC reconciliation and GST notices.
- Ability to independently manage GST compliance for multiple clients.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with Tally and accounting software is preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting and reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet statutory deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate directly with clients and junior team members.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates having hands-on experience in GST notices, annual returns, reconciliations and departmental matters will be given preference.
