Role Description The Senior Field Sales Executive will focus on acquiring and managing merchants for Paytm Payment Gateway in the Jaipur region. This full-time, in office role involves identifying prospective businesses, conducting in-person meetings and presentations, and demonstrating payment gateway products and features. The position includes end-to-end sales lifecycle management, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation, closing, and onboarding merchants onto Paytm PG.

The executive will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, monitor merchant performance, and collaborate with internal teams such as operations, product, and customer support to resolve issues and optimize usage.



The role also includes tracking market trends and competitors, providing feedback to enhance offerings, and regularly reporting sales activities, pipeline status, and achievement of targets.

Qualifications

- Proven field sales experience in payments, fintech, banking, or related B2B solutions, preferably in merchant acquisition or payment gateway services.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to independently plan and execute sales activities in a designated territory.
- Demonstrated capability in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals with small, medium, and enterprise-level merchants.
- Effective relationship-building, stakeholder management, and account management skills to maintain long-term, mutually beneficial merchant partnerships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical payment concepts in clear, business-focused language.
- Good understanding of digital payments, payment gateways, UPI, cards, net banking, and related industry trends; comfort with using CRM tools and basic data analysis.
- High level of self-motivation, goal orientation, and resilience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Jaipur market and willingness to travel extensively within the territory for client meetings and field activities.
