Role Overview The Senior Executive – HR (Payroll) will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll operations for the European region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The role requires strong knowledge of European payroll regulations, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for multiple European countries in line with defined timelines.
- Validate payroll inputs including current hires, exits, variable pay, bonuses, statutory deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure accurate processing of monthly payroll, including reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Compliance &
- Statutory Adherence
- Ensure payroll compliance with country-specific labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across Europe.
- Maintain updated knowledge of payroll legislation changes and implement necessary updates.
- Support audits (internal/external) by providing required documentation and reports.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and external payroll vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Act as a point of contact for employee payroll queries and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with regional teams to align payroll processes and policies.
Data Management &
- Reporting
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems.
- Generate payroll reports, dashboards,
and analytics for leadership review.
- Ensure data confidentiality and adherence to GDPR and data privacy standards.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives and system enhancements related to payroll.
- Drive standardization of payroll processes across the European region.
Qualifications &
- Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in payroll processing, with exposure to European payroll.
- Experience managing multi-country payroll operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, etc.).
