We are building our engineering teams across Madurai, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, and Coimbatore and are looking for Senior Data Engineers who want to work on serious data engineering problems at scale.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can design and engineer reliable, scalable data platforms — from ingestion and transformation to storage, quality, governance, and consumption.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable going beyond pipeline development: thinking about architecture, challenging assumptions, solving performance bottlenecks, improving engineering practices, and mentoring others.

You will work closely with engineering, analytics, BI, and AI/ML teams to build data foundations that are trusted, observable, scalable, and production-ready.

What You Will Own

- Design and develop high-quality ETL/ELT pipelines supporting batch, micro-batch, and streaming workloads.




- Engineer ingestion frameworks with a strong focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Build robust data transformations aligned with enterprise data models and business requirements.
- Design and optimize data storage across object stores, cloud data warehouses, and NoSQL platforms, with careful consideration of partitioning, clustering, indexing, and access patterns.
- Establish automated data quality, validation, anomaly detection, and observability practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for data engineering codebases.
- Develop curated, trusted datasets for analytics, BI, and AI/ML workloads.
- Identify architectural and engineering gaps and proactively drive improvements.
- Lead medium-to-large data engineering initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers on coding standards, data modelling, pipeline architecture, and engineering practices.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to raising the engineering bar across the team.

What You Bring
- 7+ years of skilled experience in Data Engineering, with demonstrated experience building scalable production data platforms.
- Strong expertise in Data Lakehouse architecture and advanced data modelling, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience implementing data quality frameworks, data catalogs, and lineage.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, the SDLC, and Agile delivery.
- Ability to mentor engineers, conduct meaningful code reviews, and influence technical decisions.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills,



particularly around complex data and performance bottlenecks.

Technical Depth — Must Have
- Advanced SQL and Python for data engineering, automation, and large-scale data manipulation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with dbt for modular, maintainable data transformation.
- Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake, including architecture, micro-partitioning, security, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Experience designing robust integrations using APIs and Webhooks.
- Robust understanding of CI/CD for data engineering, using platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or Spark Streaming for real-time data processing.

Valuable Experience
- Experience working with healthcare data, including an understanding of HIPAA and data privacy principles.
- Experience building data foundations for AI/ML applications, including feature stores.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into well-designed, maintainable technical solutions.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and enterprise-scale technology environments.
