Job Overview We are seeking a Lead Content Deployment / Release Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage content deployments, release pipelines, and deployment operations across Linux-based environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Jenkins, Bamboo, and CI/CD deployment pipelines, along with the ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and support content-delivery integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and manage content deployments and release pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment and release-related issues across Linux-based environments.
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate deployment and operational activities.
- Troubleshoot Linux- and Shell-level issues impacting application and content deployments.
- Support Box API integrations for content delivery.
- Monitor deployment health and application/release activities using Datadog.
- Work with Node.js and MySQL as required for deployment and application support activities.
- Manage source control and release activities using SVN and Git.




- Support applications and deployment components involving Perl, Scala, and Grails.
- Work with HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML as part of content and application deployment activities.
- Investigate deployment failures, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
- Maintain deployment documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, Deployment Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Solid hands-on experience with Linux.
- Strong Shell scripting experience.
- Experience with Jenkins and/or Bamboo for CI/CD and release pipelines.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting application/content deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SVN and Git.
- Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Box API or API-based content delivery integrations.

Good to Have

- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Knowledge of Perl or Scala.
- Experience with Grails.
- Knowledge of HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale content deployment environments.
