SAP FICO Senior Consultant (FI/CO)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) to support SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on configuration experience, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective SAP Finance solutions.

The consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring SAP FICO, supporting testing and deployments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules based on business needs.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with technical teams.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, PS, and Basis.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior consultants where required.

- Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Business Partner Integration
- Fiori Applications
- Financial Closing
- Embedded Analytics (Preferred)

Integration Knowledge Experience integrating SAP FICO with:

- Materials Management (MM)
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Production Planning (PP)
- Project Systems (PS)
- Treasury (Preferred)

Required Experience

- 7-10 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or rollout projects.
- Hands-on configuration experience in both FI and CO.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and coordinating with ABAP developers.
- Experience in production support and incident resolution.

Preferred Skills

- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.




- Knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN).
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Finance reporting.
- Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Life Sciences industries.

- SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification is preferred.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:

- 7-10 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in both FI and CO, including Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, CO-PA, Internal Orders, and Period-End Closing.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or support.
- Strong functional configuration skills and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
