Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commissioning Manager – Electrical to lead electrical systems delivery, testing, commissioning, and integrated system testing for large-scale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electrical commissioning and systems delivery, with hands-on exposure to HV, MV, and LV electrical systems, UPS, DG, switchgear, ECMS, power distribution, energisation, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Electrical Systems & Commissioning
- Lead the delivery, testing, and commissioning of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems.
- Manage commissioning activities for multiple buildings and electrical systems.
- Oversee critical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, electrical distribution systems, and ECMS.
- Ensure electrical infrastructure is tested, validated, energized, and ready for safe and reliable operation.
- Coordinate with electrical contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
- Commissioning & Integrated Systems Testing
- Manage the complete commissioning lifecycle from Cx0 through Cx5.
- Lead CTA / IST activities and integrated testing of critical electrical systems.
- Develop, review, and execute commissioning test scripts and procedures.
- Prepare and review energisation procedures, functional testing procedures, and failure testing scenarios.
- Lead power turn-on, energisation, functional performance testing, and system integration testing.
- Identify and resolve commissioning issues during testing and handover.
- Design & Technical Review
- Participate in electrical design reviews and technical assessments.
- Review electrical systems for compliance with design intent, project requirements,



and commissioning standards.
- Participate in electrical discrimination and protection coordination studies.
- Review arc flash coordination and electrical protection requirements.
- Identify design gaps, constructability issues, and commissioning risks.
- Ensure smooth transition from design and construction into commissioning and operations.
- Project & Campus Coordination
- Act as the primary electrical commissioning escalation point at project/site level.
- Coordinate with project management teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage commissioning activities across multiple buildings or project phases.
- Drive standardization of commissioning procedures, testing methodologies, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure commissioning activities meet project schedules and milestones.
- Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Identify electrical system risks associated with energisation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical commissioning failures.
- Track commissioning issues, punch points, and corrective actions through closure.
- Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
- Support final system handover and operational readiness.

Job Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical systems delivery, testing, commissioning, or project execution.
- Strong hands-on experience with HV, MV, and LV electrical systems.
- Experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, electrical distribution, and ECMS.
- Solid experience in commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Experience with Cx0–Cx5 commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of electrical energisation, power turn-on, functional testing, and failure testing.




- Understanding of electrical protection, discrimination studies, and arc flash coordination.
- Strong contractor, consultant, vendor, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams, technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning documents.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Data Centers / Hyperscale Data Centers / Mission-Critical Facilities.
- Experience working on large IT parks, technology parks, industrial parks, smart city infrastructure, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Experience with Tier-standard data center environments.
- Experience managing commissioning across multiple buildings or large campuses.
- CxA, PMP, or other relevant commissioning/project management certification will be an advantage.
