Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Chef role based in Mumbai.

The Senior

Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including planning menus, supervising food preparation, and maintaining consistent quality across all dishes, especially those that complement specialty coffee offerings.

Responsibilities include training and guiding kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and coordinating with management on inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships.

The Senior

Chef will collaborate closely with the café team to develop new baked items and savory offerings,



refine existing recipes, and support a smooth and productive service. This role also involves contributing to seasonal menu updates and maintaining a high level of presentation and taste for all items served.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills in bakery and café-style cuisine, including experience with European baked goods.
- Proven ability to lead a kitchen team, delegate tasks, and provide training and mentorship.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in commercial kitchen operations.
- Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and basic cost control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Prior experience as a Senior Chef, Head Chef, or similar leadership role in a café, bakery, or restaurant.
- Interest in specialty coffee and willingness to collaborate with baristas and café staff on pairings and menu development.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
