Senior Business Analyst (AI & Product Engineering)About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst who combines strong business analysis skills with product thinking, AI-assisted analysis, rapid prototyping and techno-functional solution design.

This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. You will work closely with customers, Product Managers, Architects and Engineering teams to transform business ideas into implementation-ready solutions. You will leverage modern AI tools to accelerate discovery, documentation, prototyping and solution validation while ensuring engineering teams receive clear, complete and actionable requirements.

You should be comfortable operating across the entire product lifecycle—from customer workshops and business discovery through wireframing, backlog refinement and engineering delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Discovery & Analysis

- Lead customer workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business problems and objectives.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Challenge assumptions, ask the right questions and uncover underlying business needs.
- Translate complex or ambiguous requirements into structured solution approaches.
- Build solid relationships with business stakeholders and engineering teams.

Product & Requirements Engineering
- Create high-quality Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Define Epics, Features and User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria.
- Capture Functional and Non-Functional Requirements.
- Define business rules, workflows and process diagrams.
- Prioritise backlog based on business value and delivery objectives.
- Ensure requirements are implementation-ready before development begins.

AI-Assisted Analysis & Prototyping Use AI as a productivity accelerator throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Expected experience includes

- Using Microsoft Copilot and Claude to accelerate business analysis, documentation and solution design.




- Creating rapid functional prototypes and validating ideas before engineering implementation.
- Producing high-quality requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios using AI-assisted workflows.
- Critically reviewing and refining AI-generated content to ensure business and technical accuracy.

UX & Solution Prototyping Create visual artefacts that help customers and engineering teams align on the proposed solution.

Experience with

- Figma
- Figma Make
- FigJam

Should be able to produce:
- Wireframes
- User journeys
- Screen flows
- Clickable prototypes
- Process flows
- Information architecture

Techno-Functional Solution Design Act as the bridge between business and engineering.

Should be able to

- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads.
- Produce implementation-ready functional specifications.
- Define API integration requirements and data mappings.
- Document business rules and solution workflows.
- Understand system integrations and enterprise application architecture.
- Support engineering teams during design, development and testing.

A strong understanding of software engineering concepts such as APIs, integrations, authentication, cloud platforms and modern application architectures is expected.

Agile Delivery

- Own backlog refinement and story elaboration.
- Participate in Sprint Planning and solution discussions.
- Clarify requirements throughout development.
- Support QA, UAT and release validation.
- Ensure delivered functionality aligns with customer expectations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst or Techno-Functional Consultant in software development.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to improve analysis, documentation and productivity.
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes using Figma or Figma Make.
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Product Management or Agile methodologies are an added advantage.
