Senior Business Analyst Telecom Store Agent Modernization

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale Telecom Store Agent Modernization program. The BA will bridge Business, UX, Architecture, Development, Integration and QA, translating complex store operations and customer journeys into detailed, implementation-ready and testable requirements.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across multiple business journeys, systems, integrations and stakeholders, and be able to challenge ambiguity and drive requirements to closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct stakeholder workshops and document As-Is and To-Be customer/store journeys.
- Create detailed business process maps, swimlanes and system interaction flows.
- Analyse manual processes, pain points, system handoffs, dependencies and opportunities for automation.
- Develop detailed functional requirements, business rules, validations and data requirements.
- Capture happy path, alternate, exception and edge-case scenarios.
- Translate requirements into use cases/user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
- Identify business-level system and integration requirements, dependencies and data flows in collaboration with Architecture/Technical teams.
- Partner with UX/UI to ensure designs reflect approved journeys, business rules and validations.
- Work closely with Development and QA to ensure requirements are clear, testable and implementation-ready.
- Support UAT planning, scenarios and business validation.
- Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) from:





Business Journey Process Requirement User Story UX Integration Development QA UAT Sign-off

- Drive stakeholder reviews, decisions, requirement closure and formal business sign-offs.
- Contribute to establishing Definition of Done / Definition of Ready for Development for each journey.

Key Business Areas Experience in some or all of the following is preferred:

- Telecom retail/store operations
- Customer onboarding
- Postpaid / Prepaid
- SIM Swap / Port-In / Migration
- Change of Ownership
- Renewals / Upgrades / Device replacement
- Insurance / Repairs
- Billing and payments
- Customer verification / credit assessment
- Store Manager approvals and device/SIM release

Required Experience & Skills

- 8–12+ years of solid Business Analysis experience.
- Proven experience in complex transformation / modernization programs.
- Strong As-Is / To-Be process modelling and BPMN/swimlane experience.
- Strong requirements engineering and business rules / exception analysis.
- Ability to produce detailed, implementation-ready requirements, not only high-level BRDs.
- Strong understanding of system interactions, integrations and data flows.
- Experience working closely with UX, Architecture, Development and QA.
- Strong requirements traceability and impact analysis experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Comfortable challenging unclear requirements and driving decisions to closure.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum or hybrid delivery models.
- Tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro or similar.
