Role & responsibilities
- Execute assigned audit engagements in line with BDO methodology and agreed timelines.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring completeness of notes and disclosures.
- Lead audit assignments and coordinate with clients for planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Organize and participate in client meetings and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
- Identify and resolve audit and accounting issues in consultation with the engagement team and clients.
- Assist Managers and senior team members in engagement delivery, reporting, and audit closure activities.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Demonstrate robust teamwork, collaboration, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Take ownership of assigned work, feedback, and continuous professional development.
Preferred candidate profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with articleship experience or relevant pre-qualification experience in Audit & Assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
