Job Summary The Senior Python Automation Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise automation solutions that drive operational efficiency, improve accuracy, and reduce manual effort across healthcare and business operations. This role plays a key part within the Automation Center of Excellence COE, working closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable high quality solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python development, system integrations, data processing, and automation technologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

- The candidate will develop automation solutions for various business functions, including healthcare operations, claims processing, invoice processing, reimbursement management, data goverce, reporting, and other operational processes.
- Responsibilities include building integrations with enterprise applications, SharePoint, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and third party systems to streamline workflows and eliminate manual activities.
- The role also involves creating reusable automation frameworks, utilities, and components that accelerate project delivery and improve maintainability.
- The successful candidate will leverage up-to-date technologies such as Artificial Intelligence AI, Optical Character Recognition OCR, Generative AI, and cloud services to enhance automation capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Automation Anywhere, and enterprise automation technologies will be highly beneficial.

- The role requires active participation in solution design, technical reviews, code optimization, testing, deployment, and production support activities.




- As a senior member of the Automation COE, the individual will provide technical guidance to junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and ensure adherence to organizational development standards, security requirements, and automation goverce practices.
- The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining source code repositories, managing CI CD pipelines, supporting release activities, and ensuring reliable deployment of automation solutions across development, testing, and production environments.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work in Agile environments, estimate effort accurately, and manage deliverables effectively.
- Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, present technical solutions, and provide project updates to leadership.
- The role demands ownership of end to end solution delivery, from requirement analysis through production deployment and post implementation support.

Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should possess 6 to 9 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of hands on Python development experience.
- A solid understanding of Python libraries such as Pandas, OpenPyXL, Requests, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and API integration frameworks is expected.
- Experience working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with GitLab, CI CD pipelines, and DevOps practices will be important for success in this role.
