Role Description This is a full time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee general ledger accounting, prepare and review journal entries, and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing payables and receivables, and monitoring cash flows. The role will support budgeting, forecasting,



and variance analysis, while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

The Senior

Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with auditors, and provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger processes, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of tax laws, statutory reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple business units.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Relevant experience in a multi-business or diversified group environment is a plus.
