About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and review the accounting work prepared by junior accountants and staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards before finalization. The ideal candidate will have robust technical grounding in accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Review books of accounts, ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations prepared by junior accountants for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all entries comply with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/AS), GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Identify and correct errors, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues before finalization of accounts
- Review bank reconciliations, party ledger reconciliations, and trial balances




- Verify proper classification of expenses, income, assets, and liabilities
- Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings are accurately reflected in the books
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to junior accountants to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and clients as required
- Flag high-risk or unusual transactions to senior management/partners
- Maintain documentation and audit trail for all reviewed work

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
