Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cost controls, and ensure compliance with relevant tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with internal departments, external auditors,



and banking partners to support accurate reporting and timely submissions.

Accountant will also contribute to process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in core accounting, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and variance reporting to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to Indian and international business operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, operations, and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing, apparel, or export-oriented organizations.
