Job Title: Senior Accountant - Finance & Accounts

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Monthly Gross Salary: INR 65,000 to INR 95,000

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Weekends Off)

Job Summary:

Role Summary:

The Senior Accountant will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, prepare statutory and management reports, and ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements. The role requires close collaboration with finance managers, internal teams, and auditors to safeguard financial integrity and support business growth. Candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas industry are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accounting records including ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually in accordance with Indian GAAP and IFRS.
- Handle statutory compliance for GST, TDS, payroll, and other tax filings; maintain audit‑ready documentation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities and perform variance analysis for management.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies; implement corrective actions and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate audits with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and implement audit recommendations.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and related statutory compliance.
- Provide financial analysis for cost optimization and project profitability assessments.




- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline accounting processes and reporting.

Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate or industrial environment.
- Systems: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Regulatory knowledge: Practical understanding of Indian tax regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Reporting standards: Familiarity with IFRS and Indian GAAP.

Skills and Competencies

- Advanced Excel skills including formulas and financial modeling.
- Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, and other compliance frameworks.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with robust attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- High ethical standards and strict confidentiality.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
