Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time hybrid position based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting processes for international clients, including bookkeeping, preparation of year-end accounts, VAT and tax return preparation, and review of working papers and control accounts. This role includes managing revenue reports, supporting audit and non-audit documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and client-specific requirements.

The Senior

Accountant will review the work of junior team members, provide guidance on complex accounting issues,



coordinate with client teams in the UK and Ireland, and help improve processes, controls, and reporting quality. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced outsourcing environment.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in bookkeeping and financial accounting, including experience with platforms such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and other commonly used accounting software.
- Proficiency in VAT preparation and filing, year-end accounts preparation, and corporate and individual tax return preparation for international clients.
- Experience in preparing working papers, control accounts, lead schedules, management letters, and familiarity with relevant accounting frameworks (e.g., FRS 102, FRS 105).
- Knowledge of revenue management and regulatory reporting, including extracting and interpreting reports such as PAYE, VAT, RCT, and other compliance-related data.
- Ability to supervise and review work of junior accounting staff, provide mentoring, and maintain high-quality standards in outsourced service delivery.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and other common office productivity tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with international clients and internal stakeholders.
- Qualified qualification such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent, or significant relevant experience in a senior accounting role.
