Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Ahmedabad.

The Senior

Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing monthly and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting audits. The role involves monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, providing financial insights to management,



and helping improve internal controls and financial processes.

The Senior

Accountant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and may mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial planning to support management decision-making.
- Familiarity with tax laws, GST, TDS, and corporate regulations relevant to India, along with audit preparation and support.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with clear, professional communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, ideally within design, retail, manufacturing, or project-based businesses.
