Senior Accountant – Accounts, Taxation & Export Finance

Job Profile

1. Accounting & Tally

- Handle complete day-to-day accounting operations in Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
- verify Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Journal and Contra entries.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Perform customer and supplier ledger reconciliation.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Prepare ageing reports and follow up on outstanding receivables/payables.
- Ensure proper accounting of expenses, income, assets and liabilities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Assist in year-end account finalization and preparation of schedules for audit.

1. GST & Taxation

- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation.
- Reconcile purchase data with GSTR-2B and verify Input Tax Credit.
- Verify GST applicability, HSN/SAC, tax rates and output/input tax.
- Handle GST notices, queries and correspondence with consultants/authorities.

1. TDS & Income Tax

- Calculate and account for applicable TDS.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.
- Reconcile TDS payable and receivable.
- Assist in Income Tax computation, return filing and assessment-related matters.
- Coordinate with Income Tax consultants and auditors.

1. E-Invoicing & E-Way Bill

- Generate and verify GST e-invoices and IRNs.
- Generate and monitor e-way bills.
- Ensure accuracy of GSTIN, HSN/SAC, tax rates, invoice and transportation details.
- Handle cancellation/amendment and discrepancies in e-invoices/e-way bills.

1. Banking Operations

- Handle day-to-day banking transactions.
- Monitor customer receipts and supplier payments.




- Process NEFT/RTGS/other banking transactions online.
- Coordinate with banks for banking documentation and transaction-related requirements.
- Handle foreign remittances and export-related banking transactions, wherever applicable.

1. Export Accounting & Documentation

- Handle accounting of export sales and foreign currency transactions.
- Maintain export invoice and payment records.
- Monitor realization of export proceeds.
- Coordinate with banks regarding export documentation and remittances.
- Maintain records relating to export invoices, shipping documents and customer payments.

1. Insurance Management

- Maintain records of company insurance policies.
- Monitor policy expiry and renewal dates.
- Coordinate with insurance companies/brokers for renewals.
- Assist in processing and follow-up of insurance claims.
- Verify premium payments and policy coverage.

1. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS reports for Management.
- Prepare sales, purchase, receivable and payable reports.
- Prepare customer/supplier ageing analysis.
- Prepare cash flow and fund flow statements.
- Analyse expenses and profitability.
- Provide financial information and reports to Management for decision-making.
- Highlight major outstanding amounts, expenses and financial variances to Management.

1. Audit & Statutory Compliance

- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, GST Consultants and Tax Consultants.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper accounting and statutory records.
