About the Role

We are looking for a disciplined, experienced, and highly responsible Security Manager with a solid Indian Army / Defence background to manage overall security operations at a large residential/project site in Bagalur, Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, manpower management, crisis-handling, and security operations experience, with the ability to manage security teams and ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, employees, visitors, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the overall security operations of the site and ensure effective implementation of security procedures and SOPs.
- Plan and manage deployment of security personnel across entry/exit points, critical areas, residential zones, parking areas, and other sensitive locations .
- Lead, supervise, and monitor the performance of security guards and supervisors.
- Ensure proper access control, visitor management, vehicle movement, gate management, and surveillance .
- Monitor CCTV operations and ensure timely response to suspicious activities or security incidents.
- Conduct regular security inspections, patrolling, and vulnerability/risk assessments.
- Develop and implement appropriate security measures based on identified risks and site requirements.
- Handle emergency situations, security breaches, conflicts, crowd-management situations, and other critical incidents effectively.
- Coordinate with local police,



emergency services, and other government authorities whenever required.
- Conduct regular security briefings, training sessions, mock drills, and emergency response exercises for security personnel.
- Ensure security guards follow proper discipline, grooming, attendance, post responsibilities, and operational procedures.
- Maintain proper records, registers, incident reports, visitor records, security logs, and other documentation.
- Monitor and manage manpower requirements, shift rosters, deployment plans, and leave/reliever arrangements .
- Ensure proper functioning and utilization of security equipment, communication systems, CCTV, access-control systems, and other security infrastructure.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive action plans.
- Work closely with the management, facility team, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth site operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable safety and security protocols .

Candidate Requirements
- Retired Indian Army personnel / Ex-Servicemen preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in Security Management, Army Operations, Security Supervision, Facility Security, or Administration will be considered.




- Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
- Good understanding of security protocols, access control, surveillance, emergency response, and crisis management .
- Experience handling high-pressure and difficult security situations will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in residential communities, gated communities, industrial establishments, large projects, or high-security sites will be preferred.
- Strong communication, discipline, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of fire & safety, CCTV surveillance, crowd management, and emergency response will be an advantage.
- Candidates possessing a valid Arms Licence for a legally licensed revolver/pistol/rifle will be preferred, subject to applicable laws and verification.

Location & Accommodation
- Location: Bagalur, Bengaluru – approximately 40 km from central Bengaluru.
- Food: Provided by the company.
- Accommodation: Company-provided accommodation available for the candidate with spouse/wife .
- Candidate should be comfortable relocating to and staying at the project location .

Compensation Salary: Competitive and will be decided based on the candidate's experience, Army rank/service background, security knowledge, leadership capabilities, and prevailing market standards .

Preferred Profile

Candidates who have served as Naib Subedar, Subedar, Subedar Major, JCO, NCO, or equivalent Army ranks , with relevant post-retirement security management experience, are encouraged to apply.
