Job Summary

Reporting to the Area Security Business Continuity Manager based in Mumbai, this role will be based in Northern India (Gurugram) and will be responsible for leading Security and Business Continuity activities across Northern India and Bangladesh. You will partner with business leaders to protect people, assets, reputation and operations while ensuring compliance with local regulations and Maersk Global standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Security Governance Compliance: Business partner with stakeholders to implement, monitor and maintain Security and Business Continuity policies, standards and programmes.

- Security Strategy Risk Management: Drive the Predict, Prevent, Respond and Recover security strategy through proactive security risk management and loss prevention initiatives.

- Audits Compliance: Conduct audits, inspections and compliance assessments.

- Regulatory Customer Requirements: Monitor compliance with statutory, customer and company requirements.

- Area Security Leadership: Serve as the primary Security Business Continuity SME for Northern India and Bangladesh.

- Area Security Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to site leadership teams.

- Area Security Leadership: Establish security priorities and governance reviews.

- Area Security Leadership: Support recent site start-ups and business expansion activities.

- Risk Management Loss Prevention: Lead security risk assessments and mitigation planning.

- Incident Management Investigations: Lead investigations into security incidents, theft, fraud and misconduct.

- Business Continuity Crisis Management: Support business impact assessments, business continuity planning and recovery planning.

- Business Continuity Crisis Management: Facilitate exercises and support crisis management teams.

- Customer Security Business Support: Act as the primary interface for customer security requirements and audits.

- Customer Security Business Support: Support the IBS business in achieving its commercial ambitions from a Security and Business Continuity lens.

- Stakeholder Management Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers and law enforcement agencies and peer security professional networks.

- Stakeholder Management Collaboration: Represent the function in area and country-level forums.

- Training, Awareness Capability Building: Deliver awareness programs and coach site teams and Site Safety Champions.
