Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated SDET 1 who has a strong foundation in software testing and is eager to build automation skills. This role requires a balance of manual and automation testing, where the engineer will validate features manually while continuously contributing to automation coverage. The ideal candidate should have good analytical skills, basic programming knowledge, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing.
- Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Automate test cases for UI and APIs using the team's automation framework.
- Execute automated regression suites and analyze failures.
- Report, reproduce, and verify defects with clear documentation.
- Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure feature quality.




- Participate in requirement discussions and identify test scenarios and edge cases.
- Contribute to improving test coverage through both manual and automation testing.
- Learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and testing practices.

Core Requirements:

Development & Technical

- Basic programming knowledge in Java, TypeScript, Python, or any programming language.
- Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with UI and/or API automation using any automation framework.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Basic understanding of SQL for data validation.
- Willingness to learn cloud technologies (AWS), AI-assisted development, and current testing tools.

Testing & Analytical Skills

- Strong understanding of manual testing concepts.
- Experience writing effective test cases and test scenarios.
- Positive understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum.
- Ability to identify edge cases and validate business workflows.
- Good debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of automation best practices.

- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.

- Exposure to Docker, AWS, or Linux.
- Awareness of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
